70’s Science Fiction and Horror have long been part of my fascinations and genre focuses as a writer. So while taking screenwriting classes at Second City Chicago, I wanted to incorporate my love for both genres into my television pilot project. Around the same time, I had watched the criminally underrated B-Horror film, “God Told Me To” from Larry Cohen and was piecing through old, half finished short stories that I thought could be used as inspiration. The combination of these factors led me to the creation of this script that I hopefully will continue into a full series one day.

A Member of the Millions follows an average-joe named Increase Jones as he attempts to make it through his day to day routine in a futuristic coastal city that has been developed for centuries by tech corporations, like the insidious and secretive Cenote, into a tiered, class divided hellscape. What are Cenote’s true intentions for the world? Will Inc be able to hold down a job and pay rent? Why are there so many missing persons reported recently? Find out another spine tingling and stomach churning episode of A Member of the Millions!
