About the Author
Nick is a writer based in Chicago, IL. Ever since he can remember he has been obsessed with storytelling. He is a writer of short stories, graphic novels, comic books, films, poems, as well as music. He’s originally from Phoenix, Arizona and graduated from Northern Arizona University with a dual major in Creative Fiction and Performance Theatre.
Nick is particularly drawn to stories related to ghosts, apocalypses, the numinous, and the way that we relate to those places and people—or how we are consumed by them.
After years of writing and submitting stories, Nick is starting a new endeavor this year to independently publish his first graphic novel and hopes to continue to publish his original works in the future. A lost soul, Evan, wanders through the decimated remnants of many afterlives in the clouds above an apocalyptic Earth, as she searches for her mortal body, encountering other wayward spirits along the way who have also lost their heaven. Will Evan and her unlikely canine companion, Dante, ever find their “Heaven?” What if humanity’s collective selfishness leads to dire consequences for the hereafter? Who was Evan in her past life and what story do these strange memories have to tell? These are just some of the scary questions that this handy Guide will attempt to address.
